Let the numbers be x. Then,
One positive Number = 7x
Other positive Number = x
But, 15 is added to both the numbers.
So,
One positive Number =7x+15
Other positive Number =x+15
Then, One of the number becomes twice the other new number
Now,
we have to find the both positive Numbers
Bu putting equations i and ii, we get
According to the Question
7x+15=2(x+15) (Given)
7x+15 = 2x+30
5x = 15
x = 3
One Positive Number = 7×3 =21
Other Positive Number = 1×3 = 3
Verifying the answers ,
By putting equations i and ii
21+15 = 2(3+15)
36 = 2×18
36=36
Hence, LHS= RHS
