4. A rectangular piece of ground is 45 m long and 30 m wide. It has two roads each 1m
wide, running midway within it, one parallel to the length and the other parallel to the
breadth. Find the area of the roads. Also calculate the area of the remaining ground.​

Area of road parallel to breadth-1m*30m= 30m^2

Aread of middle portion between 2 road=1m*1m=1m^2

Area of roads= (45+30)-1

                      =75-1

                      =74m^2

Area of remaing ground= 1350m-74m=1276m
