length of the track = 1/4 km
1 km = 1000 m
so, 1/4 km = 1000×1/4 = 1000 ÷
= 250 m
If the runner takes 2 rounds , distance travelled = 2×length of track
= 2 × 250 m
=500 m.
hope this helps you!
