4) A square and a rectangle have the same
area of 36 cm. (i) What is the length of
the side of the square? (ii) If the length of
the rectangle is 3 cm more than the side
of the square, find its length and breadth.​

Square Area - (Side)^2= 36

root of 36 - 6 (side of square)

length of rectangle - 3+6=9

area of rectangle - 36

breadth- 36/9=4 (breadth)

hence side of square is 6

           length of the rectangle is 9

           breadth of the rectangle is 4
