Now, the stone falls by the acceleration due to gravity g=9.8 m/s^2.

So, after 4 seconds it will reach ,

s=1/2 gt^2

==> 1/2 ×9.8× 16

==> 78.4 m ,from the point where it is just dropped.

So, the stone will be (80–78.4)=1.6 meters above the ground.
