The temperature of the object is 25°C.

Explanation:

x0/3 is equivalent to 0°C

x0 is equivalent to 100°C

Then

x - x0/3  ÷ x0 - x0/3 = T - 0 / 100 - 0

Now put x = xo/2

So xo/2 - xo/3 ÷ 2xo/3 = T /100

x0 / 6 x 2xo/3  =  T / 100

T = 100 / 4  = 25°C

Hence the temperature of the object is 25°C.
