4. A vessel of 90 liters is filled with milk and water. 55%
of milk and 40% of water is taken out of the vessel. It is
found that the vessel is vacated by 45%. Find the initial
quantity of water?​

Use above figure to understand the answer..

Milk : watr = 25 : 15 = 5 : 3

Therefore, Quantity of milk in the remaining mixture

=> 5/8 ×160 = 100 L

and quantity of water

=> 3/8×160 = 60 L
