A tank holds 240 litres of water is a clear statement. There is 240 litres of water in a tank and apparently that makes the tank 4/5 of the way full. But if the question was intended this way, the first sentences actually hands you the answer.

If the intended question is actually a tank CAN hold 240 litres of water. How much water is in there if it’s 4/5 full. You multiply the fraction by the total amount the tank can hold 4/5*240 = 192 litres.

Now all you have to figure out is what the asker intended to ask and why you can’t solve a fraction as someone who is 13 years old or older (assuming you’re following Quora rules).
