water were used by the society in the month of February, 2020. Also, if the average daily consumption
of each family was 250 , then calculate the approximate total number of families in that society.

Water supplied to a particular society every day = 15,000 litres

Total number of days in February in 2020 = 29 days

Therefore , water supplied in the month of February , 2020 = (29*15,000) = 4,35,000 litres

Water supplied in the month of February , 2020 = 4,35,000 litres

Average daily consumption of each family = 250

Thus , approximate total number of families in the society = (4,35,000/250) = 1,740 families
