Answer:

Perimeter ( circumference) of the circle = 132.cm.

2 × π × r = 132

2× 22/7 × r = 132

 r = (132×7)/(2×22)

r = 21 cm

Diameter = 2 × r

               = 2 × 21

d = 42 cm

                     Hope it helps you^_^

Answer :

  • Radius of circle is 21cm
  • Diameter of circle is 42cm
  • Perimeter of circle is 132 cm

Given :

  • A wire of length is 132cm is bent to form a circle

To find :

  • The perimeter, Radius and diameter of the circle so formed

Solution :

Given that a wire of length is 132cm

▪︎Radius :

As we know that

  • Circumference of circle = 2πr

⇢ 2 × 22/7 × r = 132

⇢ r = 132 × 7/44

⇢ r = 21

Radius is 21 cm

▪︎Diameter :

Diameter = 21 + 21 = 42

Diameter is 42 cm

▪︎ Perimeter:

As we know that ,

  • Perimeter of circle = πD

⇢ 22/7 × 42

⇢ 132cm

Perimeter of circle is 132cm

Verification :

  • 2πr

⇢ 2 × 22/7 × 21

⇢ 132 cm

Hence,

  • Radius of circle is 21cm
  • Diameter of circle is 42cm
  • Perimeter of circle is 132 cm
