Times of India,

Respected Sir,

I am a X class student of Viveka Vardhini School. I would like to bring your attention towards the increase in the number of private vehicles coupled with the lack of civic sense, which has lead to severe road accidents in our city especially near our school area.

Public transport is beneficical to control the traffic as well as to limit the road accidents. More vehicles means more pollution, more traffic and more global warming as well

I would like to use this platform to raise this awareness. I hope this small piece of advise will find some place in your newspaper and people would think to shift back to public transport.

Regards,

Asish

Subject: Letter to the editor for expressing concern regarding congestion of traffic in your locality.

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter to express my concern regarding the congestion of traffic in our locality.

I am Ashish, A class X student of Vidya Vardhini High School in Mumbai.

As a responsible citizen of this city, I am concerned about the problem of traffic congestion many parts of the city including my locality. Residents of my locality are yet to understand the importance of the use of public transport and benefits of using it. This not only created the problem of traffic jam but it is also bad for our environment. The pollution level of air and noise increased drastically over the past few days.

As a renowned newspaper agency, I request you to highlight this concern your your newspaper to address this severe problem to the readers.

Hoping for a positive response from your side.

Yours' sincerely,

Ashish,
