Given :

A cuboid has a volume of 72 cm³. The length is 4 cm and the breadth is 3 cm.

To find :

  • Height of cuboid

Solution :

  • Volume of cuboid = 72 cm³

  • Length of cuboid = 4 cm

  • Breadth of cuboid = 3cm

According to formula of volume of cuboid

→ length × breadth × height = 72 cm³

  • Put the value of l & b

→ 4 × 3 × h = 72

→ 12h = 72

→ h = 72/12

→ h = 6 cm

•°• Height of cuboid = 6cm

Focus Zone :

★ Total surface area of cuboid =

2(lb + bh + lh)

★ Area of four walls = Lateral surface area of cuboid = 2(l + b)h

Given:-

\bigstarThe volume of cuboid = 72 cm.

\bigstarThe length of cuboid = 4 cm.

\bigstarThe breadth of cuboid = 3 cm.

To Find:-

\bigstarHeight of the cuboid.

Solution:-

\bigstarUsing formula,

 \longrightarrow{  \underline{ \boxed{ \sf{Volume = length \times breadth \times height}}}}

\bigstarSubstitute the value give in the question in formula.

\\ \longrightarrow \tt \: 72 = 4 \times 3 \times height

\\ \longrightarrow \tt \: 72 = 12 \times height

 \\  \longrightarrow \tt \: height =  \frac{72}{12}

 \\ \longrightarrow \tt \: height = 6 \: cm

\bigstarHence, The height of the cuboid is 6 cm
