Answer: age of son is 16 yrs

age of daughter= 19yrs

age of father= 48 yrs

Step-by-step explanation:

Let age of son be x years,

therefore, age of daughter= (3+x)

age of father= (3x)

According to question,

(3x) + (3+x) = 67

3x + 3 + x = 67

4x = 67-3

x= 64/4

x = 16

Hence, age of son is 16 yrs, age of daughter (x+3)= 19yrs and age of father(3x)= 48 yrs

Thank u!

Answer :

\star\boxed{\bf{Daughter\:=\:19\:Years}}\star\\\star\boxed{\bf{Son\:=\:16\:Years}}\star\\\star\boxed{\bf{Father\:=\:48\:Years}}\:\star

Explanation :

Given :–

  • Age of Daughter is 3 more than Son .
  • Age of Father is three times of the Son .
  • Sum of the age of Father  and the Daughter is 67 .

To Find :

The ages of Father , Daughter and Son .

Solution :–

Let the age of Daughter , Son and Father be x , y and z Respectively .

According to the First Condition :-

⇒ x = y + 3  -------------(1)

According to the Second Condition :-

⇒ z = 3y  -----------(2)

According to the Third Condition :-

⇒ x + z = 67  ------------(3)

Putting z from Equation(2) in Equation(3) :-

⇒ x + 3y = 67

⇒ x = 67 - 3y  ------------(4)

Substituting the value of x from Equation(1) and Equation(4) :-

⇒ 67 - 3y = y + 3

⇒ 3y + y = 67 - 3

⇒ 4y = 64

⇒ y = 64/4

y = 16 years

Putting the value of 'y' in Equation(4) :-

⇒ x = 67 - 3(16)

⇒ x = 67 - 48

x = 19 years

Putting the value of 'y' in Equation(2) :-

⇒ z = 3(16)

z = 48 years

∴ The age of Daughter , Son and Father are 19 , 16 and 48 Years Respectively .
