Answer:

There is high pressure around and very low pressure in the center of a tropical cyclone. It is because warm air tends to rise and cause a drop in pressure

Air pressure at the centre of a cyclone is low.

  • Any low-pressure system with spiraling winds is referred to as a cyclone. In the Northern Hemisphere, cyclones spin counterclockwise, while in the Southern Hemisphere, they spin clockwise. Cyclogenesis is the name given to the process of a cyclone forming and intensifying.
  • Warm, wet air rises from the ocean's surface. As a result, a low-pressure zone near the surface develops. Cold air from the nearby areas flows into the low-pressure area as a result. Even the cold air has become warm and moist, and it is rising. The above-mentioned cycle continues.
  • As warm moist air rises, the water in the air cools, resulting in the formation of clouds. The cloud and wind system as whole swirls and grows. This cycle continues until it reaches a cyclone. When winds surpass 63 miles per hour, a tropical storm forms, and when winds exceed 119 miles per hour, a tropical cyclone or hurricane forms.
