4. yes I agree the statement because ATP and NADPH are prepared in day time .it needs O2 to break down its food for night time

5. the role of mouth in digestion is in mouth salivary Amalie is present in mouth it breaks down the carbohydrates

6. I DON'T KNOW

Answer.1

Plants release CO2 at night and absorb O2, it is because of respiration at night in plants. Photosynthesis is the process in which plants absorb CO2 and release O2, it occurs in day time only.

Answer.2

Saliva secrets a digestive enzyme which is Amylase found in mouth. It break down the starch in food into sugar, which is the first step of digestion of food.

Answer.3

inactive forms of enzymes called Zymogen and an example of Zymogen can be Pepsin.

Answer.5

Life process :-

  • nutrition
  • transportation
  • metabolism
  • excretion
  • reproduction.

It is important because we need oxygen to produce energy. For synthesis of new materials for growth and repave,cells generate certain molecules which are toxic and to be excreted out of the body.

Answer.6

No, the plant will not remain healthy as before because it will block the stomata, petroleum jelly don't allow the air to pass through it and will not allow to respire, so it will harm the leaves and they will die soon.

Answer.7

Potassium hydroxide in the flask absorbs CO2; thus, due to the absence of CO2, the leaf will fail to produce the starch which proves that carbon dioxide is very necessary for the process of photosynthesis.

Answer.8

Main functions of lymph are as follow:

  1. it absorbs and transports fatty acids and fats as chyle from the digestive system.
  2. It is responsible for the removal of interstitial fluid from tissues.
  3. It transports white blood cells to and from the lymph nodes into the bones.

Answer.9

Light reaction and dark reaction.

Answer.10

The inner lining of small intestine has finger like projections called villi. >FUNCTION:

absorb nutrients from the food you eat and that your villi help by increasing the surface area the intestine has for absorption.

Answer.11

The process of breaking down of food to release energy and carbon dioxide with the help of oxygen is called respiration.

Answer.12

>>When food is broken down by using O2, it is called aerobic respiration.

oxygen

Glucose ----------------> energy+CO2+H2O

>>When food is broken down without O2, it is called anaerobic respiration.

without O2

Glucose -----------> alcohol+CO2+energy

Answer.13

oxygen

Glucose ----------------> energy+CO2+H2O
