Answer:

Explanation:

Given :-

Initial speed, u = 0 (As aeroplane stops)

Acceleration, a = 3 m/s²

Time taken, t = 15 seconds

To Find :-

1. Speed acquired, v = ??

2. Distance traveled, s = ??

Formula to be used :-

1st equation of motion, v = u + at

3rd equation of motion, v² - u² = 2as

Solution :-

Putting all the values, we get

v = u + at

⇒ v = 0 + 3 × 15

v = 45 m/s

Hence, the Speed acquired by aeroplane is 45 m/s.

Now, distance traveled,

v² - u² = 2as

⇒ (45)² - (0)² = 2 × 3 × s

⇒ 2025 = 6s

⇒ 2025/6 = s

s = 337.5 m

Hence, The distance traveled by aeroplane is 337.5 m.
