curvature of 10 cm. Find :- (a) position of the image (b) the magnification

(a) v=+6, image formed 6cm away from lens in opp direction as that of object from lens

(b) m=2/5

Explanation:

u=-15

f=+10 (+ because in convex curvature is towards front with respect to object)

1/v+1/u=1/f

find v you'll get +6

m=-v/u

=-6/-15
