  • The height of the cylinder(water tanker) is 2.5 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

  • The capacity of the cylindrical tanker (i.e. Volume) is 61.6 m cube.
  • The diameter of the cylindrical tanker is 5.6 m.

To find:

The height of the cylindrical water tanker.

So,

As the volume is given we can find the height of the cylindrical tanker,

  • The formula to find the volume of a cylinder is

= πr²h unit cube

  • The radius = Diameter ÷ 2

So, radius(r) = 5.6 ÷ 2 = 2.8m

Thus,

⇒ πr²h = 61.6

⇒ 22/7 * (2.8)² * h = 61.6

⇒ 22/7 * (2.8) * (2.8) * h = 61.6

⇒ 22 * 0.4 * 2.8 * h = 61.6

⇒ 24.64 * h = 61.6

⇒ h = 61.6 ÷ 24.64

[By transporting (24.64) to RHS]

⇒ h = 2.5m

Hence

Height (h) = 2.5 m

Also, 2.5m = 250 cm

[1m = 100 cm]

Answer:

2.5 meter

Step-by-step explanation:

diameter, 2r = 5.6 m

radius, r = 5.6/ 2

= 2.8 m

volume = 61.6 m³

πr²h = 61.6 m³

π×2.8×2.8×h = 61.6

h = 61.6 / (π×2.8×2.8)

= 7.857/π

= 2.502 m

= 2.5 m ( approximately)
