Delete will move the item to recycle bin. Actually the file path will change to recycle bin. File stays where it was. You will not get free space by deleting.

But in permanent delete. You will get free space to fill another data. But if you didn't fill anything, a shadow of that file will remain. So you can recover it easily. But if you fill data. It will be a hard task.
