the solid liquid mixture is separated by filtration. ex- the unfiltered tea can be separated by filtration.

the solid liquid mixture is also separated by evaporation.ex-sand an water solution can also be seperated by evaporation.

B. I) -the raw rice and small stones both are solid. so, it can separate by handpeaking.

II) -if John want salt from sea then he can use evaporation otherwise he want both water and salt then he use distillation
