Answer:

Let the height be h.

Area of triangle = 1/2 × Base × Height

=> 148 = 1/2 × 1.6 × h

=> 148 = 0.8h

=> h = 148/0.8 = 185

Therefore, Height of the triangle is 185 cm

Area of the triangle :- 148 cm²

Base of the triangle :- 1.6 cm

Assumption :- Let the corresponding altitude of the triangle be X cm

we know,

Area = 1/2 × base × height

=> 148 = 1/2 × 1.6 × X

=> 148 = 2/1 × 1/1.6 = X

=> 185 = X

=> X = 185

so, the corresponding altitude is 185 cm
