Answer:

1- The Objectives Resolution was adopted by the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan on March 12, 1949. Prime Minister, Liaquat Ali Khan, had presented it in the assembly on March 7, 1949. Out of 75 members of the assembly, 21 voted for it. All the amendments proposed by minority members were rejected.

2- B.R Ambedkar

At its first meeting on 30th August 1947, the Drafting Committee elected B.R Ambedkar as its Chairman. Towards the end of October 1947, the Drafting Committee began to scrutinise the Draft Constitution prepared by the B.N Rau, the Constitutional Advisor.

3- November 26, 1949

The Constitution was adopted and passed by the Constituent Assembly on November 26, 1949.

4- 26th January, 1950

The Republic is governed in terms of the Constitution of India which was adopted by the Constituent Assembly on 26th November, 1949 and came into force on 26th January, 1950

5- The reason January 26 was picked as the day for the constitution to come into force is because in 1929, during the Lahore Session of the Indian National Congress, where Jawaharlal Nehru was elected president, a resolution was passed demanding complete independence for the first time.
