Solution :

Step 1 : Mark any point O

Step 2 : Using compass of width 44 cm and taking O as center , Draw a circle

Step 3 : Mark two points P & Q  on circumference of Circle

Step 4 : Using ruler join P & Q as  straight Line

Step 5 : Taking compass width slightly less than PQ & Taking P as center draw arc on both sides of PQ

Step 6 : keeping same compass width now taking Q as center Draw arcs such that ot intersects arc drawn in previous step at M & N

Step 7 : Join MN intersecting PQ at M  

yes it passes through center of circle

OP = OQ = Radius = 4.4 cm
