it is true that plants need co2 to make food to prove

keep a plant in a room in which sunlight can enter and water it properly . Then spread potassium hydroxide  in the room as potassium hydroxide absorbs co2 .the observe it for 1 to 3 days . you will observe that the plant got dried . it is because the plant not got co2 to make its food

Insert a part of the leaf of a destarched plant into a conical flask containing potassium hydroxide. Potassium hydroxide solution absorbs the carbon dioxide gas from the air present in the glass bottle. Leave the plant sunlight. After few hours, perform a starch test to this and another leaf of the same plant.
