a) Energy and power :-

E- Energy is a thing that helps in carrying out mostly all processes on earth, to support life.

E.g. - Light energy helps for photosynthesis and we are dependent on plant, so energy supports life in this way

P- Power is the efficiency or say the strength of energy to do a work.

E - Energy cannot be created not destroyed, it can be converted into one form to another.

P -Power can not be converted into other form.

E - According to law of conservation of energy, energy can be conserved.

P - Power cannot be conserved.

b) Kinetic energy and potential energy :-

K - Kinetic energy is the energy shown by an object due to its motion.

P - Potential energy is an energy In an object due to its position.

K - Kinetic energy is measured with one reference point, e.g - we only take mass and velocity but not other point related.

P - Potential energy is measured with two reference point. e.g - we measure height of object with respect to ground level.

K - We can transfer kinetic energy of an object to other.

P - We cannot transfer potential energy of an object to other.

c) Energy and work

E - Energy is the ability of a body to do work.

W - Work is done when it displaces something by help of energy.

E - There are different types of energy and all have their own separate calculating methods.

W - Work is of only one type, it is calculated by the product of force and displacement.

E - Energy is a scalar quantity

W - Work is a vector Quantity.

d) Work and power

W - is done when energy is Transferred

P- is the rate of supply of energy.

W - Work is measures in joules.

P - is measured in Watts.

W- Work is product of force and displacement.

P - Power is ratio of work to time.
