Answer:

The Fisherman is a beautiful poem written by Abbie Farwell.  The summary is as follows:

The fisherman goes to the sea early in the morning when everyone is asleep and he struggles his way into the sea to get fish from the sea by which he can buy bread for his family. He spend half his life on the shore and half in the sea. So he is neither a man as we are nor he is a fish. His eyes has seen the wonders of the sea and also the fear of large sea creatures. His life has become so much oriented around the sea. He knows everything related to sea like boat, tides, wind, clouds etc but he doesn't know a thing about city life like buildings and lights.

So in this poem Abbie farwell has described the life of a fisherman as how his profession has become a large part of his life.
