4. During the school lunch break, each child gets a cup of milk measuring 100 ml. There are 50 children in the class. How many litres of milk would the school buy for this class? If five children are absent, how much milk would be consumed?​

1 child - 100 ml

50 child - x

There is direct proportion here,

x = 50 × 100

x = 5000 ml = 5 litre .. (°•° 1000 ml = 1 litre)
