Answer: pH of the resultant mixture will be 3.43

Explanation: Let the volume of each acid =V

pH of first, second and third acids =3,4 and 5 respectively

[H⁺]of first acid (M 1 )= 1×10⁻³

[H⁺]of second acid (M 2 )= 1×10⁻⁴

[H⁺]of third acid (M 3 )= 1×10⁻⁵

[H⁺] of the resultant mixture will be = 1×10⁻³ + 1×10⁻⁴ + 1×10⁻⁵ / 3 = 0.00037 = 3.7 x 10⁻⁴

Therefore pH of the resultant mixture will be - log [ 3.7 × 10⁻⁴] = 3.43
