Answer:

in my own words

The container in which the ethanol is kept should be highly insulating to resist the chances of sudden fire

2 the liquid should be fully closed by any insulating lid to reduce the chances of dropping into ignites or reactive elements while doing flammable experiments

3 fire extinguisher should be necessary in case of emergency, while doing experiments

Ethanol is a very inflammable liquid. This liquid catches fire very easily. So students should take necessary precautions while using Ethanol. Some necessary precautions are listed below -

  • Ethanol should be kept away from open flames and any ignition sources. Otherwise, it may catch fire.
  • Ethanol is a highly volatile liquid. This is why students should always keep Ethanol in a closed container. Otherwise, it will evaporate and may cause fire accidents.
  • A fire extinguisher should be installed near the lab where students will use Ethanol. One can use a chemical, foam or water extinguisher. In this way even if accidentally a fire breaks out, it can be easily extinguished.
