A. Anal cerci are a pair of appendages at the end of the abdomen , arising from near the 10 th segment of the body of the cockroach.

C. The hypopharynx is located medially to the mandibles and the maxillae . It is behind the preoral cavity and infront of the labium . The hypopharynx functions as a tongue , moving food around in the preoral cavity.
