4. Explain the importance of gravitational force in the existence of life on Earth
Answers
Answer:
Gravity in our universe. Gravity is what holds the planets in orbit around the sun and what keeps the moon in orbit around Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon pulls the seas towards it, causing the ocean tides. Gravity creates stars and planets by pulling together the material from which they are made.
Gravity is one of the most important physical components of our planet and gravity is also a major reason behind the existence of life in our planet, because;
1)Earth is constantly rotating in a high speed, if there is no gravitational pull,all the substances on the earth's surface will not stay in stationary form.
2)Due to the gravitational pull, various biological activities easily say occur in our bodies.
3) Gravitational force is also the reason behind other important physical characteristics of our planet,such as friction, velocity, acceleration etc; which are aslo necessary for the existence of life.
