4) Wildlife is very important to our environment in many ways.

For example, a) it helps in maintaining the food chain otherwise the world would have been overpopulated

b) wild animals and birds help in the removal of the dead and decaying bodies by feeding on them

c) they even help in transferring of pollen grains and seeds (as squirrels do) and so increase the number of trees

d) it makes our mother earth look beautiful

5) Human beings are largely responsible for the depletion of vegetation and wildlife in th following ways:

a) use of chemical fertilizers depletes the quality of soil and hence damages plant growth

b) construction of large number of buildings, hotels, roads, unwanted areas lead to clearance of forests in large scale

c) factories release wastes and garbage into the rivers which destroy aquatic life

d) overgrazing of animals

Due to reckless cutting of trees, animal's natural habitat has been destroyed resulting in their depletion.Animals are also killed by humans for resources.Animals like tiger and elephants are killed for making coats to wear and for making jewelry out of their horns.
