the magnetic field lines never intersect one another if two two field lines intersect there would be to directions of magnetic field at that point which is not possible so magnetic field lines never intersect so the definition of the magnetic field line is a continuous curve in a magnetic field such that the tangent at any point of it gives the direction of a magnetic field at that point
