where A is the area of the triangle with sides a , b and c. and s be the semi perimeter

s = (a+b+c) / 2

s= (26+28+30)/2

s= 84/2 = 42

area of the triangle = √(42*(42-26)*(42-28)*(42-30)

= √(42*16*14*12)

=√(2*3*7*4*4*2*7*2*2*3)

= 2*4*3*2*7

= 336 cm^2

area of the parallelogram = area of the triangle

area of the parallelogram = base *height

therefore

28h = 336

where h is the height of the parallelogram

h= 336/28 =12cm
