since the remainder is 62 we can write tye polynomial as

m^3-3m^2+km +50 = 62

now, m-3=0 gives m = 3

substitute the value m in given polynomial

3^3 -3 ( 3)^2+k (3) +50 =62

27 - 27 +3k +50 =62

3k = 62 -50

3k = 12

k= 4
