4. Find the area of a rhombus whose side is 6.5 cm and altitude is 5 cm. If one of its
diagonal is 13 cm long, find the length of other diagonal.

Side of Rhombus = 6.5

Area of Rhombus = side x side

= 6.5x6.5

= 42.25cm²

Diagonal = 13 cm

Area of Rhombus = 1/2 x d1 x d2

42.25. 1/2 x 13 x d2

42.25 = 13/2 x d2

d2 = 42.25 x 2/13

d2 = 84.5 / 13

d2 = 6.5 cm

Area of rhombus is 42.25cm²

Other diagonal is 6.5 cm
