Answer:

area of triangle RSQ= 1/2(QS*height of triangle RQS)

=1/2(5.5*2.5)

= 6.875cm^2

area of triangle PSQ= 1/2(QS *height of triangle PSQ)

= 1/2(5.5*1.5)

= 4.125cm^2

area of quadrilateral= area of triangle RSQ+ area of

triangle PSQ

= 6.875+4.125

= 11cm^2
