Answer:

A (x1, y1 ) = (-10, -4)

B (x2, y2) = (-8, -1)

C ( x3, y3) = (-3,-5)

area of a triangle =

= 1/2 [ x1 (y2-y3) + x2 ( y3-y1) + x3 ( y1-y2)

= 1/2 [ -10 ( -1- -5) + -8 ( -5- -4) + -3 ( -4- -1)]

= 1/2[ -10 (4) + -8 ( -1) + -3 (-3)]

= 1/2[ -40 + 8 + 9]

= 1/2[ -23]

= -23/2
