Area of square = a^2

area \: of \: square = 64 {cm}^{2}

Side = 14 cm

area \: of \: square =  {a}^{2}

area \: of \: square \:  =  {14}^{2}

area \: of \: square = 196 {cm}^{2}

Side = 2m 50 cm

1 m = 100cm

2 m 200cm

So side = 250cm

Area of square = a^2

area \: of \: square \:  =  {250}^{2}

area \: of \: square = 62500 {cm}^{2}
