Answer :

  • 3 × 10⁴ + 7 × 10² + 5 × 10⁰ = 3075

Given:

  • 3 × 10⁴ + 7 × 10² + 5 × 10⁰

Solution:

Method (1) :

⟾ 3 × 10⁴ + 7 × 10² + 5 × 10⁰

⟾ 3 × 10⁴ + 0 × 10² + 0 + 10¹ + 5 ×10⁰

⟾ 30,75

Method (2) :

⟾ 3 × 10⁴ + 7 × 10² + 5 × 10⁰

⟾ 3 × 10000 + 0 × 1000 + 7 × 100 + 0 × 10 + 5 × 1

⟾ 30, 75

Hence 3 × 10⁴ + 7 × 10² + 5 × 10⁰ = 3075

Explaination more :

  • In expanded form we write the number by showing that the value of digit
  • Expanded form is also a way to breakup the number to show that how much each digit are there in number
  • And also show the value of power of 10
  • And also way to write numbers by showing the value

Exponents:- Exponents are used to express large numbers in shorter form to make them easy to read, understand and compare.

 \\

For example 7²+2+6

  • Here 2 is the exponent .

 \\

 \\

Expanded form :-

For example 258932

 \small \sf ⇏2 \times 100000 + 5 \times 10000 \times 8 \times 1000 + 9 \times 100 + 3 \times 10 + 2 \times 1\\

 \small \sf Or \: we \: can \: also \: write \: like \: this- \\

 \\

Important point :-

  • \small \sf \: (-1) {}^{odd \: number} =(-1)

  • \small \sf (-1) {}^{even \: number} =1
