Hlw Dude!!

QUESTION :-

Find the ratio of the total surface area and the lateral surface area of a cylinder whose radius  15 cm and length is 23 cm

ANSWER :-

T.S.A. of Cylinder = 2 π r ( h + r)

L.S.A. of Cylinder = 2 π r h

Radius = 15 cm

Length (Height) = 23 cm.

\bf\frac{TSA}{LSA}\bf{=}\bf\frac{ 2\pi\:r(h + r)}{2\pi\:rh}

\implies\bf\frac{TSA}{LSA}\bf{=}\bf\frac{ (h + r)}{h}

\implies\bf\frac{TSA}{LSA}\bf{=}\bf\frac{(23 + 15)}{23}

\implies\bf\frac{TSA}{LSA}\bf{=}\bf\frac{38}{23}

\implies\bf{TSA:LSA=38:23}

Hope this answer can helps !!
