put x = 2/3 in 9x³-3x²+x-5

9*(2/3)³ - 3*(2/3)² + 2/3-5

9*8/27 - 3* 4/9 + 2/3 -5

8/3 - 4/3 + 2/3 - 5

8-4+2-15/3

-9/3

-3
