4 Find the simple interest, if P = 400, R =
3.65% per annum and time = 150 days.
Please explain step by step

Principal = 400

Rate of interest = 3.65%

Time = 150 days

S.I. = P × R × T/100

= 400 × 3.65 × 150/ 100 × 365

= 14.6 × 0.41

= 5.986

Amount = P + S.I.

= 400 + 5.986

= 405.986

Given that,

P=Rs.400

R=3.65%

T=150days or 5/12months

Simple interest :- p×r×t/100

= 400×5×3.65 /12×100

=6.083
