 If \: x = -3 \: and \: y = 5 \: then \\\red{The \:value \: of \:8x+2y-3xy+ \frac{1}{2x^{2}} }

 = 8 (-3) + 2\times 5 - 3 \times (-3)\times 5 + \frac{1}{2\times (-3)^{2}}

 = -24 + 10 + 45 + \frac{1}{18}

 = 31 + \frac{1}{18}

 = \frac{ 558}{18}

Therefore.,

 \red{The \:value \: of \:8x+2y-3xy+ \frac{1}{2x^{2}} }

 \green {= \frac{ 558}{18}}
