x+y+z = 9..........(1)

x+z = 5..............(2)

y+z = 7...............(3)

from eq(2)

x = 5-z...............(4)

from eq(3)

Y=7-z.................(5)

putting the value of 'x' and 'y' in eq(1)

(5-z)+(7-z)+z = 9

12-z = 9

-z = 9-12

-z = -3

therefore,

z = 3

putting the value of 'z' in eq (4) and (5)

X = 5-3

therefore,

X = 2

Y = 7-3

therefore,

Y = 4.
