given = 2x+5.

Here, p(x)=2x+5.

In order to find zero of p(x), we equate p(x) to 0,

i.e p(x)=0.

⇒2x+5=0⇒2x=−5⇒x= 2−5

∴ 2−5

is the zero of p(x).

Given, f(x)=4x+5.

To find the zero of a polynomial, we use f(x)=0.
Then, 4x+5=0
⟹ 4x=−5
⟹ x=
4
−5

.

Hence,
4
−5

is the zero of the polynomial 4x+5.
