\sf\small\red{Given:-}

\sf\rightarrow {3x}^{2}  - x - 4

\sf\small\red{find:-}

\sf\rightarrow \: zero \: of \: polynomial

\sf\small\red{Solution:-}

\sf\hookrightarrow \:  {3x}^{2}  - 4x + 3x - 4 = 0

\sf\hookrightarrow \: x(3x - 4) + 1(3x - 4) = 0

\sf\hookrightarrow(3x - 4)(x + 1) = 0

Note:-

\sf\dashrightarrow \: zero \: of \: polynomial \: are \: x =  \frac{4}{3} and \: x =  - 1.
