Answer:

a = 4 and 8

Step-by-step explanation:

2x + ay - 8 = 0

ax + 8y - a = 0

eq. has infinite many solution

so, a1/a2 = b1/b2 = c1/c2

2/a = a/8 = -8/(-a)

2/a = a/8 = 8/a

on compairing a1/a2 = b1/b2

2/a = a/8

2 × 8 = a × a

16 = a²

a = 4

on compairing. b1/b2 = c1/c2

a/8 = 8/a

a × a = 8 × 8

a² = 64

a = 8
