Four bells ring at intervals of 8, 12, 18 and 20 minutes respectively.

To find :-The time will they ring simultaneously if they start ringing together at 12 noon?

Find LCM of 8, 12, 18, 20

8= 2×2×2

12= 2×2×3

18= 2×3×3

20 = 2×2×5

L.C.M = 360.

After 360 minutes bells will ring together.

We know that,

60 minutes = 1 hour

∴ 360/60 = 6 hours

12 noon + 6 hours = 6pm.
