find no. of moles of naoh which is equal to given mass/molar mass
-> 4/40=0.1 mole

mole fraction=no. of moles of naoh /total no. of moles 0.1/(0.1+0.9) which is equal to 0.1 so answer is 0.1
mole fraction of a +mole fraction of b = 1

so answer is 0.1
I hope it helps
